First weekend of the last month of 2016. For many it means winter, cold and snow, in Lanzarote we can continue to enjoy our wonderful island. And as expected, December starts a with many activities. 1. VII Encuentro Senderismo Lanzarote
The "VII Encuentro Senderismo Lanzarote" (Hiking Meeting Lanzarote) is already underway, until next December 11, offering a complete program of routes and trails in Lanzarote. Check out the free activities you can do this weekend:

4:00 pm. Enoruta in La Geria
Landscaped path, low difficulty, by the vineyards of La Geria, a unique landscape of holes excavated for the plantation. Wine tasting.

8:30 am Hiking Punta Mujeres- Famara
Trail of high difficulty starting from altitude 0 meters to ascend to Haría first and then to the Peñas del Chache at 600 meters high. The end of the route is the descent to Famara, 0 meters above sea level, through the ravine of the Poceta.
10:00 am. Family holidays in Haría
Path of low difficulty, suitable for families with children between 5 and 12 years, interactive learning in the middle of nature. Enjoying the artisan market of Haría. Price: Free

4.30 pm. Afternoon for Kids with film projection accompanied by popcorn and chocolate.

7:00 p.m. Draw and start of Mixed Round.

Sunday 4 December. Festivity of Santa Bárbara
12:30 pm. Mass sung by the Alborada Peña del Lentisco Group, procession and recognition to Ms. Juana Betancort Bonilla and Ms. María Dolores Betancort Betancort (midwives).
2:30 p.m. In C.D. Máguez tasting a dish of wheat and mille broth and to its term. Tenderete Canario enlivened by the Parranda Los Gurfines (mat for the little ones).
8:00 pm. Playback Infantil, collaborates with the Arbol Solidario "A child a gift".
3. VI Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote
The 6th Lanzarote Film Festival ends on Saturday 3 December 2016. The program offers screenings in different rooms in Lanzarote such as the Atlántida multi-cinema and the Workshop at the Pancho Lasso School of Art, While the meetings will be at the International Museum of Contemporary Art MIAC-Castillo de San José. And the closing will be done at the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé.
4. Presentation of the documentary short film "Si no hubiera viento"
The presentation of the documentary short film "Si no hay viento" will be held in the Hall of Acts of the Cabildo on December 2 at 8:00 pm.
5. Antonia San Juan “Mi lucha”
Antonia San Juan, will arrive to Arrecife next December 3 to entertain the public of Lanzarote. "Mi Lucha" is a new challenge facing the Canary actress who will be presented in the Theater Cine Atlántida at 9:00 pm this Saturday. The price of tickets is € 17.
6. Concert Trío. "Los conciertos de la Cueva" 2016
December 3 is celebrated the Trio Concert, as part of the program of "the concerts of the Cave 2016" at the Cueva de los Verdes. The musical show will be held at the Auditorio de la Cueva de los Verdes at 20:00 hours with a varied repertoire.
Tickets are priced at € 20 per person and can be purchased at the ticket offices of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, and at Casa Amarilla.
7. 38º edición del Rallye Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote
The 38th edition of the Rallye Orvecame Island of Lanzarote will be held on 2 and 3 December.
The departure ceremony will be on Friday at 17:00 hours at the headquarters of the rally located in the central facilities of the Cabrera Medina Group in Playa Honda. The vehicles will depart for Arrecife to play the 1.6-kilometer spectacle.
On Saturday will be the bulk of the routine with a total of nine timed sections, between 9:00 am and 6:50 pm.
8. Rocamboleska Kids Save the World
On Friday, December 2, you will be able to enjoy the show "Rocamboleska Kids Save the World" at 6:00 pm at Tías Municipal Theater. Entry is priced at € 7.
9. Jardinero por un día (Gardener for a Day)- Plan de Revitalización del comercio local La Marina
On Friday, December 2nd, the program of the Local Commerce "La Marina" continues with the workshop: "Gardener for a Day".
10. Judo/Aikido Exhibition. Marina Lanzarote

11. II Jornadas Star Wars en la Casa de la Juventud de Arrecife
On Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3, the Casa de Juventud de Arrecife offers the "II Jornadas Star Wars".
The program includes projections, workshops, Photocall, board games, role playing, video games ...
To participate in the workshops, a solidarity contribution of a toy or a kilo of non-perishable food is requested, which will later be donated to NGOs.
12. Limpieza Litoral Caleta Caballo
The associations Famara Limpia and COUP, organize a beach cleaning of the coast and beach of Caleta Caballo from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for this Saturday, December 3.
The meeting point is the small village of Caleta Caballo. The idea is to make beach cleaning as rutinary as cleaning your house. Thank you for your support in any way you can.
13. Lanzarote Digital Planetarium: Precisión, horóscopo y estrellas polares
Culture Arrecife and Lanzarote Digital Planetarium presents this December 2nd session: Precision, horoscope and polar stars, to be held at 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Maritime Fisheries School (IPFP).
The third movement of the Earth is the protagonist of this session that will take us back millennia in time, and will present us with the sky with which they built the great pyramids.

Santa Claus opens the doors of his little house on the third floor of the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, on December 3, 10 and 17 at 6:30 pm. This activity will also be one day before Christmas, on December 24th at 11:30 am.
15. II Carrera de ilusiones. Costa Teguise.
The "II Carrera de las Ilusiones" (Race of Illusions) is celebrated this Sunday in Costa Teguise. This sports and solidarity event wants to raise funds for the purchase of toys for the most disadvantaged children, under the motto "No child without a gift".
La Carrera has 4 modes, 400 meters for children under 7 years old (which may be accompanied by an adult), 800 meters for children between 8 and 10 years, 1 km for runners between 11 and 14 years and 5 kilometers for Over 15 years old runners.
There is also the possibility of collaborating by acquiring the "Dorsal Zero", with the € 5 fee, for both children and adults.
