Mercadillos - Flea Markets in Lanzarote (Dates and Hours)


Arrecife Market

On Saturday mornings, near the Charco de San Ginés, the flea market takes the Calle Real, which becomes a go and come of people looking for handicrafts, gastronomic and local products in the commercial center of the capital of Lanzarote at the Arrecife's Mercadillo.

Hours: Saturdays from 09:00 am to 2:00 pm.


Teguise Market

Every Sunday morning, tranquility in Teguise becomes bustle with the arrival of the crowds looking for Teguise's Mercadillo. One of the most important markets in the Canary Islands takes place in the streets of Teguise, where you can find all kinds of handicrafts, ceramics, basketry, natural and typical products, among others. The favorites are the cheeses and wines and the ones elaborated out of cactus and aloe. In the "Mercadillo de Teguise" you can come across some of the work of art that captures your attention, as it is a place where local artists often sell their works. The times of the market are from 9:00 am. to 2:00 pm. and is usually recommended for visitors.

Costa Teguise Market

This small market is set in the Plaza Pueblo Marinero of Costa Teguise, where many of the positions of the Sunday market of Teguise are found. On Fridays afternoon you can take advantage of the products of the market in a pleasant atmosphere that has a range of bars and local restaurants nearby.

Hours: Friday from 6:00 pm. to 10:00 pm.


Traditional Market of Puerto del Carmen

Beyond the extensive beaches and large shops of Puerto del Carmen, local products, gastronomic displays, costume jewelery and traditional handicrafts can be found in Varadero Plaza every Friday from 4:00 pm. to 10:00 pm.

Agriculture and Artisan Market of  Tinajo

The Agriculture and Artisan Market of Tinajo is U-shaped, distributed by stone trails that are organized by agricultural products, livestock products, fish products, baked goods and handicrafts. It has almost a decade running and it's a perfect place to take a memory of the most traditional and authentic of Lanzarote. Don't go without a sample of tafeña (corn toast) or without trying the gofio.
