“El Reducto” Beach is the main beach in the island capital. This beach has fine sand and the special characteristic of being framed with tall coconut trees. The almost enclosed bay, starts in “Punta del Camello” and ends at the Grand Hotel in Arrecife, spans half a kilometer long by 45 meters wide and has calm waters. This urban beach is at the heart of Arrecife, with a promenade where all the services are: bus, accommodation, restaurants, and bars, showers, changing rooms, toilets, telephones and shops.
