Today music is the star of the day, with a master class, concert and cabaret. And this weekend there are several charity events for animal protection against breast cancer and for the San Bartolomé FC, the best thing is that you will be helping and having fun.

1. Mencey Romántico en Concierto
The Mencey concert arrives at the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé this Friday with boleros that will make you pull out your romantic side. Miguel Ángel, Pedro, Javier, Ignacio, Daniel and Patricio come from different musical backgrounds, that why their diversity shows on stage and that leads to a unique interpretation with sound quality and warmth of their voices. You can't miss it! 
3. “Vamos al Cabaret”
Let's go to Cabaret! This friday the doors of "Recova Municipal" will open to recieve this amazing show at 9 pm, directed by José Manuel Clar. It is a story of the old cabarets and stands 10 years after the cabaret "Canterbury Hall" close its doors. The owners, two German disreputable, were charged in a plot of trafficking in women and after the conclusion of the trial, it emerged that were related to the murder of Jews in World War II. 
The Cabaret has long been a dump, but judging by the published in the Daily Mirror tabloid news, former workers have decided to reopen the business. Will they turn to the glorious days Cabaret? The question is both an invitation to see this great show.
3. MasterClass Gratuita Miguel Manescau. “Improvisación Concepto y Puesta en Acción”
For free you can enjoy this MasterClass of "Improvisation, concept and put into action", given by Professor Miguel Manescau. This MasterClass will be in the School of Music Tonin Corujo from 5 to 7 pm, and it's a chance to grow as improvising musicians of any kind. 
4. Travesía a nado “La Bocaina 2015″
LAST MINUTE: CANCELLED BY BAD WEATHER
Can you imagine swim from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura? Well, a lot of participants can and will this Saturday, October 17, that's the day of the Swimming across "La Bocaina 2015", the swimming linking the two islands. The start will take place at Playa Dorada (Playa Blanca, Lanzarote) and the arrival will result in Playa Corralejo (La Oliva, Fuerteventura). It is a swim across open water with a distance of 15 kilometers separating from Playa Blanca-Yaiza (Lanzarote), and finishing in Corralejo-La Oliva (Fuerteventura). 
The start of the cruise will be at 07:45 hours, leaving every 5 minutes between each swimming group. At 14:45 hours it's the deadline for the finish. The awards ceremony will be between 15 and 15:30, after lunch (13: 30-16 hours).
5. II Evento Rojiblanco en San Bartolomé
The "II Rojiblanco San Bartolome event" will be this Saturday for the presentation of all categories of San Bartolome FC in the park Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente. Throughout the day, attendees can sample tapas, desserts, ice cream and drinks, for the donation of 1 €. Admission is free.

6. Carrera Solidaria “Ponte en mis pies”
The I Lanzarote Caritas Association Solidarity Race "Put yourself in my foot" (I Carrera Solidaria Asociación Cáritas Lanzarote “Ponte en mis pies”) takes place this Saturday October 17 in Columbus Marina esplanade at 10:00am. The first circuit is for children, with a distance of 2 kilometers. 1000 meters round trip. 
In the main event there will be two categories of 5 and 12 km for adults. The second circuit: 5Km adults is designed for amateur athletes, walkers, people with disabilities. The route will be from the Esplanade Marina Columbus / bar Marylin back in Playa Honda. And the third circuit: Athletes 12 kilometers, will travel from around the esplanade in Puerto del Carmen Hotel Beatriz.
7. Excursión benéfica a la Isla de Lobos. Sara Protectora

8. Teatro familiar: “ROMEO Y JULIETA”
Romeo and Juliet. The classic story Fray Lorenzo explained by a child who is lost and ends in the middle of the stage. This play that is for the entire family and that will make you laugh, will be Saturday at 11:00 in Teatro Insular of Lanzarote. 
9. MÁSTER CLASS BENÉFICA A FAVOR DE AFOL
This saturday, at 18:30 hours wear pink and go support this Benefic Zumba Masterclass. This event is for AFOL (Association of Families oncohematologic of Lanzarote) and will be held at Villa eguisse. Go with your pink shirt to form the human tie against breast cancer. Admission is 5 euros. Let's go, it's for a good cause.And to dance! 
10. Excursión marítima a la isla de La Graciosa
The Club de Lucha Unión Norte (Fight Club North Union), in collaboration with the Municipality of Haria and Lineas Romero is organizing a boat trip to the island of La Graciosa, on Sunday, October 18, with the aim of raising funds to meet the costs of Club maintenance. 
The tour price is 16 euros for adults and 10 for children between 5 and 10 years, being free for children under 5 years. It includes morning picnic, lunch and participation in the surprise sweepstakes to be undertaken during the voyage.
11. Exposición “Paraíso Alternativo”
On Sunday October 18 at 12:00 the exhibition "Paradise Alternative" opens in the Exhibition Hall Arts Center Convent of Santo Domingo. The art exhibition features works by Claudia Torres, Elena Betancor, Gerson Diaz, Julia Maria Martin, Jose J. Torres, Moon Bengoechea, Marco Alom, Nicolas LAIZ Pleasures, Oscar Marin Repoller, Sabotage the Assembly. 
12. Exposición de Pintura: Canarias Siglo XXI
The Costa Teguise Civic Center helds the Canary XXI Century Expo Canarias Exhibition from Friday October 9 until October 30. This exhibition of contemporary art includes the participation of artists living in the Canary Islands, gathered after holding seven years of Painting Contest Tenerife-Century XXI. Participate internationally recognized painters and other countries. 
13. Exposición de Pedro Pérez Pérez
Exposure of Lanzarote artist Pedro Pérez Pérez will open today (Friday October 16) at 20:30 hours in the House-Museum Timple. Pedro born en1942 La Villa de Teguise. From very young it is integrated into the social and cultural life of Teguise, their hands out all the sets of the theater group of the Villa, it was also the designer of the carpet of salt concocted by Corpus. This exhibition can be visited until October 31.
