Lanzarote awaits the arrival of Their Majesties the Three Kings. The celebration is on this Thursday 4 and Friday 5 and there are several activities for the kids and the whole family.
Every year, on January 5, a parade is celebrated to honor the Three Kings, who travel through the desert to Bethlehem to offer gifts to the newborn baby Jesus. In the Canary Islands it is customary to see the Kings on their camels, a special image for the little ones who always wait for this event.
The Three Kings Day (Ephifany day) is celebrated in all the Spanish territory, but in the Canary Islands it is special with the sun shining and the bright smiles of the "chinijos" (little kids).
Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, along with their pages will go around Lanzarote to visit the children and receive their letters.

The Three Kings in Yaiza 2018
Yaiza and Playa Blanca welcome this Friday the visit of the Three Kings.
Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will travel on camel's back through the streets of Yaiza and Playa Blanca accompanied by music groups, jugglers and children's characters. The parade in Yaiza is scheduled at 5:00 pm, while in Playa Blanca will take place at 7:00 pm.
The Three Kings parade San Bartolomé and Playa Honda 2018
The Three Wise Men will arrive at Playa Honda on Thursday, January 4th.
The parade will begin at 7:00 pm on Avenida (Goliath area), going along Avenida Cordel and Calle Cordel, San Borondón and ending at Calle Mayor.
The Kings will greet all the families that come to the meeting along the way and will listen to the last requests and wishes of the children.
San Bartolomé invites you to enjoy the magic of the Horseback parade this Friday, January 5th, in which the Three Wise Men will leave from the San Bartolomé High School at 7:00 pm, crossing the Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrera and Calle Rubicón to finish in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park.
The Three Kings will visit Deiland
On Friday, January 5, the Deiland Plaza Shopping Center receives the visit of Their Majesties the Three Kings, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Three Kings in Tías 2018
The children will be able to enjoy the "Children's Magic Show" in the Plaza Leandro Fajardo (next to the Hermitage of San Antonio), this Thursday, January 4, at 9:00 pm.
At 8:30 pm, the New Year's Concert of the Tías ACUARTI Band will take place at the Teatro Municipal de Tías. Admission is free.
The parade and reception of the Three Wise Men in Tías and Puerto del Carmen will take place on Friday, January 5th:
6:00 pm. Horseback parade and Reception of His Majesties the Three Wise Men in Tías, with departure from the roundabout of the restaurant La Casona passing by Libertad Street and La Luchada Street, arriving at the Municipal Sports Pavilion where the letters will be collected.
7:30pm. Horseback parade and Reception of His Majesties the Three Wise Men in Puerto del Carmen. Departure from the end of Teide Street, collecting letters from the children in Varadero Square and then their Majesties the Three Kings will go along Avenida de Las Playas to the San Antonio Hotel.
The Three Kings in Teguise and Costa Teguise 2018
In Teguise the celebration begins with the "Disney Magic Teguise" Christmas Music Festival, which will once again bring the magic of Disney to La Villa de Teguise on the night before the kings day, with presentations in two sessions: on Thursday, January 4, at 6:00 pm and Friday, January 5, at 5:30 pm in the Municipal Tent of Villa de Teguise.
Tickets can be purchased for 5€ at the Casa de la Cultura in Teguise and at the Tourist Office of Teguise.
Tonight, at 9:00 pm, the Concert of the "Joven Orquesta de Canarias" will take place in the Convent of Santo Domingo.
And on Friday, January 5th, will be the great day of the Three Wise Men in the different villages of Teguise:
