3. XIV Aniversario del Centro Municipal de la Tercera Edad de Playa Honda
The 14th Anniversary of the Municipal Senior Citizen Center of Playa Honda celebrates with the performance of the playback "La Noria del Recuerdo" by the seniors of Yaiza tonight at 7:00 pm. 5. IRONMAN LANZAROTE 2017
This week is the Ironman Lanzarote 2017, one of the most important sporting events on the island. All the information about the Ironman program, the road cuts and routes of the "guaguas" (buses) can be seen here.
Ironkids 2017 - Ironman Lanzarote
The Ironkids takes place this Friday May 19 in Puerto del Carmen. The Acuatlon (race-swimming-career) is aimed at children and young people from 7 to 17 years.
Ironman Lanzarote 2017
The 26th edition of the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote 2017 will be held on Saturday 20 May, and it's of the toughest IRONMAN events in the world.
On race day, the event's two-lap swim course takes place at Playa Grande, Puerto del Carmen, the main tourist resort of the island. The bike course is well known for challenging athletes with strong winds, and leads athletes around the island with over 2551 meters of climbing. Participants will enjoy amazing views and will have lots of support from volunteers along the way. Finally, the 3-lap run course leads competitors along the flat sea front of Puerto del Carmen, towards the airport and back. Athletes will enjoy beautiful views of the ocean under the intense Lanzarote sun, while feeling the impressive support of thousands of spectators lining the streets.
6. Theater: BIBIANA MONJE Lacura
On Friday, May 19, the play "Bibiana Monje" will be presented at the El Salinero Theater, at 9:00 pm.
7. Concert El Colorao
On Friday 19 May, "El Colorao" Concert will be celebrated, because of the "Canary Island's Day" (May 30) at the Timple Casa-Museo at 9:00 pm. Tickets are priced at € 10.
8. The 6 night miles of Arrecife. Stand Up Paddle
On Friday, May 19, the Stand Up Paddle event "The 6 Night Miles of Arrecife" will be held, starting at 5:00 pm., when participants will be confirmed in the following categories: Pro (6 miles), Amateur (4 miles) And Kids (2 miles). Followed at 6:00 pm by the Skippers' Meeting and at 7:00 pm by the start of the race from the Charco de San Ginés.
9. "Yaiza se mueve" (Yaiza moves!) 2017
This Saturday, May 20, from 9:00 pm., Playa Blanca will host "YAIZA SE MUEVE 2017", a free music event held at the back of the Guaguas Station.
This year will feature performances by Maikel Delacalle, Tutto Duran, GRUPO BOMBA, Orquestra Kódigo 10, Orquesta Rikabanda, Vamos y la liamos and Pedro Morales Dj, Djizan and Dj Migüi Roger.
10. Solidarity concert for AFOL and Flora Acoge
The songwriter Daniel Moisés, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his musical career, organizes, in collaboration with the City of Haría, a solidarity concert for the benefit of AFOL and Flora Acoge, on Saturday, May 20, at 9:00 pm at La Tegala Sociocultural Center in Haría.
The artists that will join him at the charity gala are: Ygsela González, Baila Conmigo Lanzarote, Brizeyda Cabrera, Miguel Medina, Lanzarote Baila, Aaron Márquez, Laura Peña and Celso Betancort.
11. International Familiy Day

Teguise presents this Sunday May 21, in the Agricultural Square of Villa de Teguise, the best tapas made with potatoes of the earth at the Potato Fair, starting at 10:00 am.

"De Cabo a Rabo" is presented on Saturday, May 20, at the El Salinero Theater, at 6:00 pm. Tickets for this dance-Children creation by TenerifeDanzaLab are on salea online and at the Culture Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, for 6€.
