1. "Patrulla Canina" at Deiland
On Sunday, December 18, the members of "La Patrulla Canina" will be visiting Deiland Shopping Center from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Kids will have a great time with these canine friends.
2. Meet Santa Claus
Discover the house of Santa Claus. Biosfera Plaza.
Santa Claus opens the doors of his little house on the third floor of the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, this saturday December 17 at 6:30 pm. This activity will also be one day before Christmas, on December 24th at 11:30 am.
Santa Claus and his Elf visit Marina Lanzarote
This Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, Santa Claus and his Elf will visit the Marina Lanzarote Shopping Center from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Do not forget to deliver your letter for this Christmas.
3. Family Musical: LA BELLA DURMIENTE (Sleeping Beauty).
The family musical "Sleeping Beauty" is presented this Saturday December 17 at El Salinero Theater at 6:00 pm.
Clapso presents an updated version of the Grimm Brothers' classic, where in the Kingdom of music the most wanted princess, a future pop star, is born. But her fate had been written since the Rock Witch had cast a curse upon her, when she was not invited to her baptism.
This fun musical kingdom is filled with melodies from Abba, Mecano and Alaska, to recreate the eternal Dream of Sleeping Beauty in a show ceated for the whole family.
Tickets for the 70-minute show are priced at €6 and can be purchased online, at the Culture Area of Cabildo de Lanzarote (9:00 am to 2:00 pm.) or at El Salinero Theater box office on the same daythe show.
4. "Casa de la Juventud" Activities
Rock Concert for Charity.
On December 16th the Arrecife Casa de la Juventud (Youth House) hosts the Solidarity Rock Concert at 9:30 pm with Nonsense, Vil Metal and John Doe. There will be a draw of Rock Canario Cd's, Rock shirts and Tattoos.
The entrance will be a toy, a kilo of non-perishable food or personal hygiene products.
Master Class for Charity.
On Friday December 16th, at 7:00 pm, the Arrecife Casa de la Juventud (Youth House) hosts a Master Class for Charity. If you want to attend, they're only asking you to take a toy or non-perishable food and have fun dancing!
5. Alegría Musical - Plan de Revitalización del comercio local La Marina
On Friday, December 16, the program of the Local Commerce "La Marina" continues with "Alegría Musical" at Parque José Ramírez Cerdá.

6. Chritsmas in Arrecife 2016
Arrecife has several activities to celebrate the holidays this weekend:
Christmas concerts 2016. Coral Polifónica San Ginés.
In December the 2016 Christmas Concerts of the San Ginés Polyphonic Choir return and on Sunday, December 18, at 12:30 pm, will be celebrated at the Church of San Ginés.
7. "Un Cuento de Navidad" (A Christmas Carol). Arrecife.
"Un Cuento de Navidad" (A Christmas Carol) is presented at the Argana Alta Park, in Arrecife, next Saturday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m. Organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Arrecife, Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote and Comi-K Theater.
8. II Charity Race "Deja Huella" Arrecife. Run with your pet..
Arrecife runs for the benefit of the Protective Animal Rescue Lanzarote (Zero Sacrifices) on Saturday, December 17. The Second Charity Race "Deja Huella" will be held at 4:00pm at La Bufona.
You will be able to participate with or without pet in this route of 4 km.
This year there will also be a children's race in which the little ones will be able to run a distance of 500 meters and a modality of runner without dog that is included this year like a novelty. The €10 registration includes t-shirt, gift and sweepstakes.
Before the race, at 3:00 pm, there will be a free training class that will be given by "Clever Dogs".
9. Tías Christmas Program 2016/17
Tías celebrates Christmas and has a great program for these holidays.

The Tías Senior Center organizes a Visit to the Nativity Scene on December 16. The departure is from the San Antonio Church at 4:00 pm.

17. Be Brave & Run Charity Race 2016. Yaiza
The sixth edition of the Solidarity Christmas Race of the Princess Yaiza Suite Hotel & Resort, Be Brave & Run, will take place this Sunday, December 18th.
The Be Brave & Run offers 4 different routes.
Open for children under 5 years in a circuit of 200 meters, for juniors and adults in the race of 5.5 kilometers; Because any age is good to be part of the Be Brave & Run.
Schedule:
10:20 am. 200 mts. Kids 0 - 5 years.
10:30 am. 500 mts. Pre-children 5 - 9 years.
10:45 am. 2.2 Km. Children 10 - 13 years old.

18. Opera: Madama Butterfly
Madama Butterfly will arrive on December 18 at 8:30 pm at Teatro El Salinero in Arrecife.
Madama Butterfly (original title in Italian) is an opera in three acts (originally in two acts) with music by Giacomo Puccini and libretto in Italian by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica. This time will be performed by soloists Miki Mori, José Concepción, Lilina Ciuca and John Heath.
