1. San Bartolomé Shopping 2016
On Saturday, December 10, the seventh edition of the program of dynamization and activation of the main local trade with the "San Bartolomé Shopping 2016" is celebrated in San Bartolomé.

2. Craft Workshop: Christmas Special de Navidad. Deiland.
On Sunday 11 December, at 11:30 am, within its children's activities program, the Deiland Shopping Center organizes the "Craft Workshop:
Christmas Special" for kids to learn how to make postcards and Christmas decorations.
3. Fiestas de Navidad y Reyes Municipio de Tías 2016/17
Tías is ready for the Christmas holidays and presents a complete program of activities that you can see here:
Friday 9
3:00 pm. Registration of the Nativity Contest ends.
5:00 pm. Fashion show and children's activities, with collection of toys, organized by the Association of Entrepreneurs of Tías, Felapyme and Department of Social Welfare and Family of Tías City Hall, in Plaza Leandro Fajardo.
9:00 pm. Concert José Manuel Ramos “Desde adentro”. On Friday December 9th at 9:00 pm you can enjoy the José Manuel Ramos Concert "Desde Adentro" (From inside) at the Tías Municipal Theater. Entry is priced at € 10.
And on Saturday 10, at 11:00 am, there will be the Christmas exhibition of Gym Club Tigotan, in the Municipal Pavilion.
4. "La Magia de Tony Peña" A show for the whole family. Magic for children
Also, within the program of the Fiestas de Navidad de Tías, the "Magic of Tony Peña, a show for the whole family, Magic for children" arrives on December 10 at 6:00 pm at the Tías Municipal Theater. Tickets are priced at € 6.
5. Discover the house of Santa Claus. Biosfera Plaza.
Santa Claus opens the doors of his little house on the third floor of the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, on December 10 and 17 at 6:30 pm. This activity will also be one day before Christmas, on December 24th at 11:30 am.

7. SOLIDARITY CHRISTMAS
At this time we remember the less fortunate, so we share the information of initiatives that want to see children to smile at Christmas. There are several organizations that will have "Toy Collection" so that no children will be left without Christmas gift.

On Friday December 9 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm There will be the a "Toys Colletion: share illusion, donate a toy" in Plaza Leandro Fajardo, near the theater and library of Tías.
Also there will be Children's party, mats, workshops, snack ... You will participate in the drawing of a gift, if you bring a new toy.

The Association 4 Gatos Rockers Club Lanzarote organize, for the coming Christmas, a Charity collection of toys for the benefit of AFOL and Mararía on Saturday December 10 from 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm at the Parque Islas Canarias in Arrecife.
IV Campaña navideña de recogida de juguetes
The IV Christmas campaign of collecting toys by ASOLAN is this month until December 20th. The organization aims to collect toys and children's games to deliver to the children of the most needy families in Lanzarote.

On December 10, from 11:00 am. to 2:00 pm., Marina Lanzarote hosts an event for the whole family, including pets: "Peludillos antes de Navidad".
There will be a dog contest with great prizes.
Come and meet the animals for adoption or get massage with ESACAN and collaborate with the association "Huella A Huella".

9. Buddy's Marathon - Lanzarote International Marathon 2016
This Friday, December 9, it's the Buddy's Marathon By Aquaparpark - Lanzarote International Marathon 2016 Children's Race.
Registration will cost 1€ and will go to the TRi WWW association to promote and support scientific research in order to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in sport.
Here's the itinerary for today:

5:00 pm. Age 3-6. Distance of 250 meters.
5:20 pm. Age 7-10. Distance of 800 meters.
5:00 pm. Age 11-14. Distance of 1600 meters.
5:00 pm. Age 15-17. Distance of 2400 meters.

10. Lanzarote International Marathon 2016
This Saturday 10 December will celebrate 26th edition of the Lanzarote International Marathon 2016 in Costa Teguise, starting at 8:00 am.
It will again have four distances: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km, designed for all levels, from beginners to elite runners, in addition to the already well-known category of wheelchair or wheelers, which also expect a great Number of participants from all over the world.
Modalities:
Marathon, departure at 8:00 am, from Sands Beach Resort, Costa Teguise.
Half Marathon, departure at 10:30 am, from Playa de Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen.
10 km, departure at 11:30 am, from Marina Lanzarote, Arrecife.
5 km, departure the 12:15 pm, from the stately palace La Mareta, Costa Teguise.
11. VII Encuentro Senderismo Lanzarote
Until this weekend is celebrated the "VII Encuentro de Senderismo" and you can enjoy several routes and trails throughout Lanzarote:
Friday, December 9
10:00 am. Meeting unit in San Bartolomé. Location: San Bartolomé.
8:00 pm. Night walking on the jable. Route of low difficulty by the jable of San Bartolomé with interpretation of the sky by the astrophysicist Raul Martinez.
Saturday, December 10
08:00 am. Hiking Haria-Teguise. Medium difficulty route that takes us along the royal road from Malpaso from Haría to "La Ermita de las Nieves" and from there to Teguise.
Sunday, December 11
09:00 am. Hiking in Caldera Blanca. Medium difficulty trail with a recent volcanology and a lunar landscape. The arrival at the large crater of White Caldera will impress us.
12. Geoloruta "Sendero de Montaña Faja"
Geopark Lanzarote and Archipelago Chinijo organizes a new "Geoloruta" (Geological route) in Haría by the trail of "Montaña Faja", which will be held on December 10.
It's about 7 kilometers and it will last up to 4 hours, The route will pass through the municipality of Haría, with departure and arrival to the square of town, with a circular route that will allow the user to enjoy the Valley of Tabayesco and the west coast of the island.
13. Tempo Lanzarote Jameos del Agua 2016.
"Tempo Lanzarote" returns this Sunday December 11th. The successful visual, musical and stage show premiered on the occasion of the reopening of Jameos Auditorium. New singers and dancers and new musical compositions to provide new benefits to a performance that captivated hundreds of people who enjoyed it in his first season.

17. Dramatized reading: La Vida de Los Salmones (The Life of Salmon), by Itziar Pascual.
