1. 33 Canary Islands International Music Festival
The 33 Canary Islands International Music Festival continues with the music shows in Lanzarote and La Graciosa:
Ensemble Villa de La Orotava
Tonight the "Ensemble Villa of La Orotava" is presented at "Iglesia del Carmen", in La Graciosa, at 8:00 pm. Entrance is free.
They will also be at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas, in Yaiza, tomorrow, Friday, January 20, at 9:00 pm.
Concerts "Follow the Music"
This Saturday, January 21, at 12:00 noon you will enjoy the "Sigue la Música" (Follow the music) function at La Recova (Arrecife) and La Graciosa Church.
Symphonic Band of Santa Cruz de Tenerife
This Saturday, January 21, the Symphonic Band of Santa Cruz will be presented in Lanzarote at Jameos del Agua Auditorium, in Haría, at 9:00 pm.
The entrance fee is € 8 and can be purchased Online or in the Cabildo Culture Area of Lanzarote (from 9:00 am. to 2:00 pm). They can also be purchased at the box office of Jameos del Agua on the same day of the performance, from one hour before the start of the show, if not sold out.
The Symphonic Band of Tenerife is composed of almost 50 musicians and has more than 100 uninterrupted years of performances, offering in many cases absolute premieres of national and foreign composers. Since 2002 the director of the group is Felipe Neri Gil Marrero.
On Sunday 22, they will also perform at La Graciosa at 12:00 o'clock. Entrance is free.
Dúo Antwerp
The Antwerp Duo will perform on Sunday 22 January at the Sala El Aljibe, in Haría, at 8:00 pm. We hope you already have your ticket, because they are sold out.
Duo Antwerp consists of two outstanding performers: Adilia Yip in the marimba and Daniel Belloví in the bass clarinet, who have always believed in the enormous potential of this unique combination.
Next Monday, January 23, the duo Antwerp will also perform at La Graciosa Church at 8:00 pm. For free. Don't miss it!
2. Music: "Los Secretos"
Tickets to enjoy "Los Secretos" concert on January 20 at the Teatro Atlántida at 9:00 pm are sold out. The lucky ones to attend will enjoy the "Algo prestado" (Something Borrowed) tour presented by the popular band from Madrid.
3. "Los Cielos del Sur" (The South Skies). Lanzarote Digital Planetarium
The first activity for 2017 of Lanzarote Digital Planetarium is this Friday, January 20, called "Los Cielos del Sur" (The South Skies), which will be held in two functions: the first at 6:00 pm and the second at 7:15 pm, at the Maritime and Fisheries IPFP in Lanzarote (Fishing School).

5. II Musical meeting for TINGUAFAYA
The "II Encuentro Musical a beneficio de TINGUAFAYA" (Musical meeting for Tinguafaya) is celebrated next Friday January 20 at 8:30 pm at the Theater of San Bartolomé. The benefit concert will feature the performances of the Folk Groupings Gaida (Tías) and La Peña (San Bartolomé) and poetic interpretation by Emilio Fernández Batista.

6. Activities for children at Deiland Mall

The Deiland Shopping Center organizes the children's activity "Ping-Pong", for this Saturday January 21 at 10:00 am. This activity is framed within the Island Games of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

This Sunday, January 22, at 11:30 am, you can also enjoy the children's activity "Modelo por un día" (Model for a day) at the Deiland Shopping Center. There will be dressing, manicure, makeup and modeling class.
7. III International Quemao Class Championship
The III International Surfing & Bodyboard "Quemao Class 2017" Championship is still celebrating in La Santa, with the participation of 64 riders, 32 in each modality, the best in the world of fifteen countries. The waiting period started on January 8 and will finisht next March 31.
8. Pastry workshop for kids. Femés.
As part of its January program, Ayuntamiento de Yaiza offers an "Afternoon of Pastry" on Thursday, January 19th, at 5:00 pm at the Femés Cultural Center, so that the children can prepare a Delicious dessert that they will share at the end of the workshop.
