1. Music: Mahler Chamber Orchestra
The 33 Canary Islands International Music Festival presents this Thursday, January 12, the Octet of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra at the El Salinero Theater, at 9:00 p.m.
MCO is a nomadic group of exceptional musicians with 45 members from 20 different countries who come together to tour Europe and the rest of the world.
The sound of the orchestra is characterized by its packaging and independent musical personalities.
Tickets cost 15 euros and can be purchased online.
2. El Hombre Duplicado – Saramago
"The Double" is a theater play, produced by DD & Company Productions in co-production with CACT Lanzarote, based on the literary work of the well-known Nobel Prize winner, José Saramago.
In the original work, Saramago speaks of the search of the own identity and other people's. With humor and irony, the Portuguese writer talks about the capacity of the human being to adapt to the other.
"The Double - Saramago" will be performed on January 13 and 14 at 8:00 pm in the auditorium of Jameos del Agua. The ticket costs €25 online.
3. III International Quemao Class Championship
El III International Surfing & Bodyboard "Quemao Class 2017" Championship will have 64 riders, 32 in each modality, the best in the world of fifteen countries.
The particularity of this competition is that it is not celebrated on a fixed date, but has a so-called waiting period, It started on January 8 and will finisht next March 31, because they compete on the days with the best conditions, looking for the perfect wave. That way, the show is guaranteed and the repercussion is unbeatable.

4. Bodyjump Masterclass. Deiland.
Get rid of those "Christmas excesses" by playing sports at Deiland, with the Bodyjump Masterclass this Saturday, January 14, at 6:00 pm. The class will be taught by Fuertegym.
5. International Lanzarote Duathlon Club La Santa 2017
The International Lanzarote Duathlon Club La Santa 2017 will be held on Saturday, January 14. This event will have a 5 km race, a 20 km bike tour and a 2.5 km race.
On Friday, January 13, will be the dorsal withdrawal, payment and information at Club La Santa from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. While on Saturday will begin the Delivery of bikes at 8:30 am. The men will run first at 10:00 am, followed by the women 5 minutes later.
The prizes will be awarded after finishing the race, with €500 and a trophy for the first place in both categories.
6. Presentation Gala of Children's "Murga Los Intoxicaditos"
On Saturday January 14 will be the Presentation Gala of Children's "Murga Los Intoxicaditos", at Multicines Atlantida, at 8:30 pm. The gala will count on the performances of Noveleros, Tabletuos, Desahuciados, Titiroys, Pijoletas and Chimbay. The donation is € 3. Children under 4 years old enter free.
