6. Activities for children:
Children's Workshop: Decorate your Flowerpot. Deiland.
Celebrate spring! This Saturday, 24th of March, at 6:00 pm. in the basement of the Deiland Shopping Centre, the children will decorate the flowerpot for the spring and take it home to plant whatever they want in it. No age limit.
Workshop: Create your own organic garden. Biosfera Plaza
This Saturday, March 24th, the "Create your own organic garden" workshop will take place at the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Centre at 6:00 pm.
With this theoretical/practical workshop, attendees will be able to create an organic vegetable garden. The aim is to make parents and children aware of the importance of organic farming for the environment and health.
Easter Fun at Deiland 2018
The Deiland Shopping Centre has prepared a special programme of activities for Easter which begins this Sunday, March 25th, with a "Magic Show" at 5:30 pm.
7. Women's Day Activities at San Bartolomé 2018
The commemorative activities for Women's Day in San Bartolomé will conclude this Saturday, March 24th, with "Kilometres for Equality", a hiking route around Punta Mujeres with a gathering. The bus will depart at 5:00 pm. from San Bartolomé. The activity is free, with prior registration.
8. Heritage hiking route with interpretation: Nazaret-Zonzamas
The Cabildo of Lanzarote organizes a new activity of patrimonial trekking interpreted in the route Nazaret-Zonzamas that will take place on Saturday, March 24th, with departure from the teleclub of Nazaret. The activity is free with limited places.
9. Palm Festival: Fortress and threats of the Haría palm plantation
On the occasion of the palm tree festival, activities are held to raise awareness among the population and to enhance the value of the Haría palm grove.
Saturday, March 24th:
12:00 horas. Talk on the actions being carried out for the conservation of the Haría palm grove and its fight against "Diocalandra frumenti", the phytosanitary treatment with endotherapy and the strengths and threats of the palm grove by Marcos Díaz-Bertrana Sánchez, environmental technician and specialist in Canary Island palm trees, at the La Tegala Socio-cultural Centre in Haría.
Sunday, March 25th:
9:00 am. Palm plantation in the municipal estate of Los Lajares. Meeting point in the Plaza de Haría.
1:00 pm. Neighborhood meeting enlivened by the party Pa´l Porrón in the Caves of Ventura.
