This weekend in particular brings a lot, a lot of things to do. Ok, they’re not really 250, almost… we just add a zero. There are a lot, but we have here the best 25 Thins to do this Weekend in Lanzarote.

1. Fiestas del Carmen
This weekend the festivities in honor of Virgen del Carmen continue in Arrieta, and of course, in Puerto del Carmen.

Fiestas del Carmen Arrieta 2015
The Fiestas del Carmen in Arrieta end this weekend. Today, Friday August 31 it’s the Beach Voleyball Championship at Playa de La Garita at 4:00pm. Besides, tonight at 11:00pm there will be the “Popular Party” (Verbena popular” with the musical group “Los Conejeros” and “La Orquesta Suso y Familia”. 
Saturday August 1st, you will have the festival of “Tapas in La Garita”, from 12:00 at noon. With the music of Dj FURRE and lots of activities. The end of the festivities will be on Sunday after an afternoon with “Verbena de agua” (Water party).

Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Carmen Puerto del Carmen
The costume and accessories workshop will start the activities this Friday at the Cultural Center in Puerto del Carmen at 18:00 hours. After, as part of the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Carmen en Puerto del Carmen, there will be an Arsmagna Exhibition (Skate, Graffiti, Djs) at Plaza del Varadero. You will enjoy a musical night with the VII Encuentro Coral de Habaneras in the Civic Center at 20:30 hours. Next a Folkloric meeting in Plaza del Varadeno, and followed by the Verbena Popular with the Orchestra "Lágrimas Negras" (Black Tears) and the group "Swing". 
Saturday, besides the Carrera Popular Barranco de Quíquere, in Playa Grande at 10:00 am there will be a game of handbal. The contest of “Miss Puerto del Carmen” will take place at Plaza del Varadero at 21:00 hours. Traditional mass will be held at Sunday (11:00 h). And the weekend ends with the monolog “La Hora del Humor de Mujercitas y uno más” (The Humor hour with Little Women and one more) in El Fondeadero Salon at 20:30 h.
2.Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Nazaret 2015
This Friday start the Fiestas Nuestra Señora de Nazaret 2015 with the decoration of the town. Then the Championship of traditional games (Envite, Rey mala, Truco, ronda and Napolitana).
3. Fiestas de La Peña Mozaga 2015
The Fiestas de La Peña Mozaga 2015 organized by the City of Teguise start on Saturday August 1 with a trip to a water park and the start of the “Ronda” Championship. Sunday at 10 there will be the bike run across the Barranco. 
4. Fiestas en Honor a Nuestra Señora de las Nieves Teguise 2015
The Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves Teguise 2015 have a religious program. They begin with the proclamation, continue with Mass and then the triduum to the virgin. This Saturday is going to be the Romería, which have a special guaguas Schedule. 
5. Youth Week in Arrecife 2015
Juventud Arrecife has a planned week to celebrate youth in Arrecife from this Sunday August 2 to August 12th. There will be different activities, all free for young people and for those who still feel young. On Sunday, August 2 at 12:30 in the Playa El Reducto will Concerts Water Festival, with performances of Issuer Clandestina, Africa Yeah, Batucada and DJs. There will also be water sports like windsurfing and canoeing. 
6. Children's activities in Playa Quemada
As part of the program of the City of Yaiza, Saturday August 1 will be the children's activities in Playa Quemada (Actividades infantiles en Playa Quemada). From 17:00 hours there will be a Playground for the local festival of Playa Quemada, and at 23:00 at night the well-known Verbena. Sunday August 2 will be the Master Class Zumba Fitness in Playa Quemada in Playa Quemada at 13:00. And at 14:00 Verbena Water and the Barbecue.

7. VI Swimming Cup Open Waters Lanzarote in Punta Mujeres
As part of the AA Lanzarote Swimming Cup 2015 on Sunday August 2 will be made the crossing of Punta Mujeres “ Travesía de Punta Mujeres” at 12:00 h. The course is 2000 meters and have the categories Benjamins, which goes first, Alevines and adapted (12:15h) and Infant, Junior and Master will depart at 12:30h. 
8. Running SanJuanero Lanzarote with Valentí Sanjuan
This Friday July 31 at 18:00 the “Running SanJuanero Lanzarote” with Valentí Sanjuan is made with departing from the Sands Beach Hotel. The tour is suitable for all levels and last between 45 minutes and an hour. 
9. First International Absolute Canarian Fighting Championship
The III Absolute Canarian Wrestling Championship Campeonato Absoluto de Lucha Canaria will have his year the participation of ten canaries fighters and eight representatives of Ssireum South Korea and will explore ways to pay tribute to Carmelo Guillén "Pollo de Tajaste I". The competition will be held on August 1 in the municipality of Tinajo Lanzarote. 
10. Arrieta Acuatrail Playa La Garita
This Saturday will be the Arrieta Acuatrail in Playa La Garita. This competition will be 500 meters of swimming, 5 km run and other 500 more meters of swimming. Starts at 16:00 hours and you can still register for it up to two hours before the event starts. 
This is part of the program of Fiestas del Carmen de Arrieta 2015.
11. Carrera popular Barranco del Quíquere 2015
The III Carrera Popular Barranco del Quíquere, organized by the Municipality of Tías is part of the Fiestas del Carmen and will be this Saturday August 1 at the Plaza del Varadero at 10:00. The popular race will feature up to 300 participants in the course of 5 and 10 kilometers.

12. 8vo Mar en Calma 2015 Playa Honda
This Friday July 31 begins the eighth edition of the "Festival calm sea “Festival Mar en Calma”, in which Playa Honda hosts this festival cultural program with music, theater and puppets. 
13. Concert pianist Mijail Saprichev
The prodigious pianist Mijail Saprichev will give a concert in the premises of the Museum of Wine, Bodegas El Grifo on Friday, July 31, 2015. The concert, which has classic character, will begin at 19:30h. Saprichev offer the audience works of JS Bach, LV Beethoven, S.Rahmaninov, F.Mendelssohn and F.Chopin. 
14. Music & Mojitos in Marina Lanzarote July 31
This Friday July 31 at the Marina there will be night of Music & Mojitos Música y Mojitos. There will be a concert of “Treinta y Tantos” at 22:30 h and also another activities for children and music to enjoy the sunset. Of course, all of this is better with a Mojito in your hand. 
You can enjoy two more of this Music & Mojito nights Friday August 7 with Jimmy Jopplin and Friday August 14 with “Ni más ni menos”.
15. First Aid Workshop for your pet

16. Exhibition “World Press Photo” on Arrecife
From July 30 to August 21 returns to Lanzarote the Exhibition “World PRess Photo” Arrecife 2015. For the 17th consecutive year, this prestigious exhibition of photojournalism returns to the Municipal Art gallery Charco de Arrecife. 
17. Group Exhibition "EN PRECESO" at the Museum El Grifo
The exhibition “En Proceso” (In Process), wich opens The exhibition "In Process", which opens at the Museum El Grifo, presents pieces from different artistic expressions such as painting, drawing, photography and collage, which address the issue of process, understood in many different ways. Agustin Bethencourt artists, Alberto Lasso and Alfonso Soriano Diana Valls meet again.

18. “Save a Life” Free in Caleta Famara
I'm trained to save lives! It sounds good and I wish we could all say that. Well if you want to know how to save a life go to the Save a Life Workshop on Socio Cultural Center Famara Caleta Saturday. Plus it's free. This event organized by the City of Teguise receive the first group at 9:00 am and the second group at 16:00. 
19. Beach Music Costa Teguise 2015
Notice: Event Suspended until further notice as reported by the City of Teguise-Costa Teguise.
The second edition of the Beach Music is this Saturday August 1st in Las Cucharas Beach in Costa Teguise. Music will be in charge of Djs Karlos MK (Atlantic Sounds, MIAC), Jyetur (Nep, Picon Group), al Dj Angel Pérez (Angel Events), Luca de Tena (Nep, Reforma Records, Records Ibiza), Vanne DJ (Lavagroove), Tonono (Atlantic Sounds, Silent clap) y Juan Hernández (Juventud Teguise). From 14:00 to 22:30 hours. 
20. Children's activities in Las Coloradas, Playa Blanca
Children's activities in Las Coloradas, Playa Blanca this Saturday. Actividades infantiles en Las Coloradas. There will be a Kids party from 10:00 hourst to 21:0 in the Plazoleta (small square) of Las Coloradas mall. At 19:00 hours there will be a Zumba Master class and a children's runway at 19:30 h. 
21. Market & Fashion Puerto Calero August 1st
From 10:00 hours to 22:00 hours in Puerto Calero there will be the Market & Fashion. T Este evento tendrá el Mercado de Quesos y vinos locales desde las 10:00 hasta las 14:30 horas. 
22. Hiking on La Graciosa
The town of Yaiza has this Hiking on la Graciosa (Senderismo en La Graciosa) program as part of the activities for Saturday August 1st. It’s for residents, so you should take your NIE or resident Travel Certificate to the meeting point at Orzola dock at 8:00am. 
23. Cleaning of Playa de la Madera -Tinajo
The organization Famara Limpia organized this Saturday this activity Cleaning of Playa Madera “Limpieza Playa de la Madera en Tinajo”. The meeting point of entry Madera Beach from 11 am to 13:00. This beach receives a lot of plastic and is neglected by being isolated. The idea is to make the clean beaches act as routine as cleaning your house.

24. Summer Dancing at Biosfera
Have fun dancing in McDonald's Biosfera with Zumba, aerobics, DJs, performances and more. Sunday August 2 at 18:00 the party is in the Summer Dancing in the Biosphere Plaza. There will air mattress for children. In this event “I Summer I Solidario McDonald's Biosfera” all proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. 
25. Tempo Lanzarote August 2
Tempo Lanzarote is in its third Sunday filling the auditorium Jameos del Agua with music and lights. If what you like are the musical performances, you can’t miss Tempo Lanzarote. The Classical Orchestra Lanzarote seduces you with its presentation of music, dance and lights. It is the second function of this journey through time as the public learns parts of the history of the island through music and images. 
Tempo Lanzarote are 9 musicians, 17 actors and many surprises that begins at the time of the attacks of pirates who punished the habitants of the island. Tempo are volcano and eruptions, are agriculture and fisheries, demon and drama, struggle and survival, is tourism and Cesar Manrique. The creation of Roberto Fuentes and the Classical Orchestra de Lanzarote, made with the collaboration of Benito Cabrera, produced for the Centers for Arts, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote have six more shows. Tickets cost 39 euros overall fee, 20 euros for Lanzarote residents o and 31,20 euros for canary residents. You do not want to miss it.
