3 Things to do this weekend. N, wait. Not Things to do, 3 Parties filled with events in Orzola, Caleta de Famara and Arrecife.
Enjoy the weekend with the “Pamela (hat) Festival”, run to the extreme with Famara Total, hear the tribute to Kraus, practice different sports activities, and embrace the culture of Arrecife, dance and play. There are plenty to choose from this weekend in Lanzarote.
1. Fiesta de la Pamela
As part of the Fiestas Santa Rosa de Lima, tonight there will be the popular and traditional “Fiesta de la Pamela” (Hat party) in Orzola. Music by Furre, Dj Juan Hernández and RAY CASTELLANO. You have to know you gotta go with white clothes. Or something white. And you can put all your creativity to the test, because the best decorated hat will win a Price. 
Besides the Fiesta de la Pamela, this weekend in Orzola you can go to a First Aid workshop in Caleton Blacon Beach (Saturday). Then there will be activities for the kids, beach futball and different contests. Saturday night there will be the “Gran Verbena” with “Los Conejeros” and “Swin del Mambo” at the pier. 
Sunday, after the Zumba Master Class at 12:30 hours, there will be the "Verbena del Agua" (water party), with Naiyimbe group at the pier. These parties continue until August 30. We remind you that there will be a collection of food and hard goods to be delivered to Municipal Food Bank during this festival.
2. Fiestas de La Caleta de Famara
Today begin the festivities dedicated to Sagrado Corazón de María (Sacred Heart of Mary ) with the decorations of La Caleta de Famara. 
Famara Total The main attraction will be the race Famara Total Sunday August 23. And of course, concerts and activities for the entire population. During these days you can enjoy the Fiestas in La Caleta and honor the Virgin. The Fiestas de la Caleta de Famara will last until August 30. 
3. Fiestas de San Ginés Arrecife 2015
Arrecife celebrates the Fiestas de San Ginés and there’s a Little of everything for everyone.
Tribute to Kraus
This Friday there will be Benefit concert at the Cinema Theatre Atlantida, in Arrecife. This tribute to Alfredo Kraus will be at 21:00 hours and It’s a way to pay tribute to one of the most important opera singers in history, tenor Alfredo Kraus. The concert is starring Isabel Rey, Mariola Cantarero, Borja Quiza, Badel Albelo, Ruth Terán, Julio Cendal, Orlando Niz, Juanma Padrón, Belén Elvira and Pancho Corujo, accompanied on piano by Juan Antonio Álvarez Parejo. Admission is 15 euros.

Enjoy tonight of the “Verbena Popular” (Popular party” at the Arrecife Fairgrounds (23:00 hours) with “Los Conejeros” and “Travesía” group.
Festival Campesino
This Sunday, the weekend closes with the “Campesino Festival”, where there will be Los Campesinos from Lanzarote , Los Bimbaches from el Hierro, and Domingo Rodríguez “El Colorao”, from Fuerteventura. 
Sports
This weekend will be the Travesía a Nado “San Ginés 2015” (Swimming Crossing in San Gines), part of the circuit Cup Open Water Swimming. 
Also, there will be different sports events during the festivities: the Touch-Rugby Tournament III San Gines, paddle tennis tournament, Beach Handball Tournament (I), VI Futsal Tournament veteran, Chess Simultaneous and Tournament, Canarian wrestling, cycling Catching belts and cycling competition "the last shall be first," Beach Handball Tournament, Petanca Tournament "San Gines 2015" and many activities dedicated to children. On Sunday at 21: 00h will also be the night regatta barges. Be a Hero After the end of this week full of emotions we ask you to keep some energy for Monday. You can become a hero! And you can donate this Monday at Dailand Mall in Playa Honda from 16:30 to 21:30 hours.
