2. Screening and talk from Unai Llantadaabout “Climbing the Carstensz Pyramid”

4. X Encuentro de Narración Oral

On Thursday 17 March there will be a workshop on “Improving Public Speaking” in the Femés Cultural Center at 6:15 pm, taught by Pepa González. Organized by the Department of Culture.
“History of Canaria Women” workshop. Yaiza.
The “History of the Canarian Women” workshop on Thursday, March 17 takes place at 7:00 pm in the Senior Center in Yaiza, given by the Association Mararia. Organizes Social Revitalization area. Contact: 679 453 803.
Workshop “I like to speak in public.” Playa Blanca.
The Playa Blanca Library receives this Friday the Workshop “I like talking in public”; at 5:00 pm, taught by Pepa González.
Workshop for Father’s Day. Playa Blanca.
On Friday 18 March the workshop is held on the occasion of Father’s Day at the Cultural Center of Playa Blanca Aurora, at 5:00 pm, organized by the Association Creciendo Yaiza and Yaiza City Council.
Workshop “Importance of words-PNL”. Breñas.
At 6:30 pm on Friday, March 18, there’s a workshop on “Importance of words-PNL” at the Cultural Center Las Breñas. The workshop is taught by Pepa González.
Friday it will also be the meeting with young people at the Cultural Center Femés. With this meeting the Youth Council wants to see firsthand the views and concerns of young people.
6. El Afecto Ilustrado. Canarias Religious Music Festival
Today at 8:00 pm there will be the concert of El Afecto Ilustrado within the Canarias Religious Music Festival, in the Church of San Gines Arrecife.

7. Teguise Walk for seniors
This Friday there’s a walk through the town of Teguise, between Teseguite and La Villa de Teguise, espcial for people over 69 years old, it’s a low-medium level of difficulty. All the municipalities of Lanzarote will participate and the event is free, with limited and pre-registration. The “Walk for seniors” will begin at 10:00 am, from the Socio-Cultural Center Teseguite.
8. MARWAN’s Concert
This Friday, MARWAN is presented in concert in Lanzarote. MARWAN will be in Tías Municipal Theatre at 9:00 pm. The ticket price is 14 €, advance and 17 € at the box office.
9. Timple y Bohemia
The “Timple and Bohemia” group is presented on Friday, March 18, at 9:00 pm in the Covento Santo Domingo. Tickets for the show are priced at 10 euros.
“Timple y Bohemia” was born from the idea of giving prominence to the fascinating and unique sound of the instrument par excellence and originating in the Canary Islands, the timple.

10. Dead Bronco’s Concert
Dead Bronco’s concert is this Friday at the Sala Aqua in Arrecife, at 9:30 hours. And as guest artists are: Tokyo Revolver y Marcos & Uncle Charlie Trio.
50 rock’n’roll, country, rockabilly, doo wop and a little folk in a live show very intense. Early entry is priced at 6 € and can be purchased at the Asturias bar and Pamperolanzarote. The entrance at the box office (fairground) will cost 8 €.
11. Dance for Seniors in Yaiza
The Department of Social Revitalization of the City of Yaiza organized for Friday, March 18, the “Dance for seniors” in Seniors Local in Yaiza, at 8:00pm. The price per person is 5 €. For information: 679 45 803.

Dont’s forget this saturday is Father’s Day in Spain (And Saint Joseph) and it’s a great time to give a little happiness to ourd dads. And it doesn’t have to be a tie.
12. Free Workshops for children aged 3 to 10 in El Pueblo
This is the last Saturday of El Publo Mall programming of workshops for children, on March 19 corresponds to the workshop “team games- Treasures Search” and it will be at 5:00 pm in the Coffeeshop La Fuente square. The workshops are taught by Jessica Streeb and Iria from the Waldorf School. Free snack for participants.
13. Music Marathon Festival Lanzarote
The Music Marathon Festival Lanzarote will be this saturday, March 19, at the Plaza de las Naciones, the starting point for the 5, 10 or 20 kilometers races. There will also be a race for children, 800 or 1600 meters.
14. Una noche Mágica (A Magical Night). Concert for “Sara Protectora”
This saturday there will be a “Magic Night” with an incredible benefit concert for Sara Protectora (Animal Shelter). With the impressive performance of the soprano Sheyla Rizo, violinist Iya Zhmaeva and Javier Diaz, on the piano. The artists will perform works by Grieg, Piazolla, among others.
The concert will be at the House of Culture Benito Pérez Armas in Yaiza, at 8:30 pm.
Tickets are priced at 15 euros (advance sale), those that are not sold in advance will be on sale at the box office 30 minutes before the start of the show.
15. WA-YEWTA La Leyenda
Saturday in the Plaza del Varadero, Puerto del Carmen, you can enjoy a multidisciplinary show based on Aboriginal legend WayeW-ta. Aerobatics, video mapping and original music, among others, will enliven our ancestral past. The event will be at 9:00 hours.
16. Pablo López’s Concert in San Bartolome
Pablo Lopez will perform this saturday at the San Bartolome Municipal Theatre at 9:00 pm. The Malaga-born artist comes to Lanzarote to present his new work “El Mundo y los Amantes” (The World and the Lovers), part of his tour “El Mundo” (the world), after the success of their debut album “Once historias y un piano” (Eleven stories and a piano) that led him to be nominated for best new artist Latin Grammy in 2014.
