Christmas month is here! And in December there’s a lot of things to do. As everyweek, we tell you about the best events on the islands, but in Lanzarote there are so many Things to Do on the weekends that we let you a list of 15 activities that include parties, music, workshops for children and adults, concerts, movies and more. December starts with a BANG and it brings a very complete program for Christmas, new year’s eve and “Reyes”.

1. Music at the Lanzarote Biennal in Jameos del Agua
Music, as an art form, is part of the programming of the VIII Encuentro Bienal ArteLanzarote 2015 VIII Art Lanzarote Biennial Meeting 2015, that’s organized and promoted by the Centers for Arts, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote. This Friday, December 4, at Jameos del Agua, a concert bringing together artists of disco from the likes of Za !, Meneo, Resonance, D. WattsRiot and Débruit it’s held, in one of the best dance floors outdoor world. Five intense dance sessions will begin at 9:00 pm and will last until 04:00 am.
2. Yaiza 40 Christmas Concert
As a welcome to the season in Yaiza, this Friday there’s a new edition of "40 Yaiza Christmas Concert" at 21:00 in Playa Blanca. Thousands of people will enjoy performances by Rasel, David Pop, Cristina Boscá, Ray Castilian, Lion & Love, Daviel, El Noah, Foncho, with sessions of Pedro Morales Dj sessions and DJ Izan, presented by Javier Lorenzo and Mj have Castañeda. Access is free.
3. Christmas Biosfera TV Benefit Gala
Solidarity Christmas Gala in aid of Caritas and “Calor y Café” will take place in the Municipal Theatre of Tias, this Friday, December 4, at 7:30pm. Starring The Golpito, Tonin Corujo, the Puerto del Carmen’s Coral Marina, the dancer Luismi, Emilio Fernandez, Tias School of Dance, Almudena and the singer Andrea Luzardo, who released his first album. It is a special charity gala Christmas, so no tickets will be on sale, people who wish to attend as audience must deliver at the box office 2 kg of toiletries, cleaning and / or non-perishable food (except for products in bags or plastic packages). 
4. Clausura de la V Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote- San Bartolomé
To close the 5th Edition of the European Film Lanzarote Show, this Friday at 7:00 pm will be projected “SOBRE EL CIELO” (Over the Sky), by J. Quintela, in the San Bartolome Theatre. At 8:00 pm it will be the closing ceremony and the screening of “RABO DE PEIXE”, by J. Pinto and N. Leonel. Admission is free, but seating is limited. 
5. Tarde de Música y Juegos en Teguise
As part of the Teguise Christmas Program, today there will be an evening of music and games in the Teguise City Tent (Carpa Municipal de Teguise). This activity is done to benefit the Children's Cancer Association, “pequeño valiente” (little brave). There will be workshops for children from 9:00am to 1:00pm and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Then the music begins with Parrandas "The Golpito" and "Los Valles". The “Bingo with a gift” will be at 8:30pm. Admission is € 5. 
6. Fantastic Binomial Workshop: Writing for Childrens
Fantastic Binomial Workshop is for children aged 7-14 years. This writing workshop is held this Friday December 4 in the Library of Playa Blanca. The binomial will be the basis of creation and method of thinking. In this workshop history you can be born a fantastic pairing. Use your imagination and creativity to write. 
7. Creciendo Yaiza. Disability Week
This Saturday December 5 at 6:00 pm at the Hotel Princess Yaiza the el Christmas Ceremony takes place in favor of diversity. Along with the lighting of the lights of the nativity from this year, it is expected an act full of symbolism and sensitivity that reminds us of the struggle against discrimination and the “yes” to coexistence recognizing and accepting our differences. 
8. Fiestas de San Francisco Javier Arrecife 2015
The program of the San Francisco Javier Festival in Arrecife include this Saturday the great “Verbena del Sombrero” (Hat partie), starting at midnight, where there will be headdresses contest and performances by Lanzarote Swing. 
9. International Day of People with Disability. Haría.
On Saturday December 5th a series of events takes place in Haria for the “International Day of People with Disability”. At 11:00 there will be the Batucada of the Cribo in the Haria square. There will a great performance of the Marquises of Valterra with Tinguafaya Association, with the play “In the gala of inclusion", this will be at 12:00 pm in the Tegala Sociocultural Center. The monologue “In the Bathroom”, by director and actress Esther Vazquez, it will be at 12:45pm. There will be a Manifesto of the Association of People with Disabilities in Lanzarote (ADISLAN) at the cultural center the Tegala and also a statement by the directors of the Tinguafaya Association. 
10. Beach Cleanup in Playa Honda
This Saturday, December 5, there’s a Beach Cleanup organized by the Neighborhood Association Viento del Jable in Playa Honda, from 11.00 to 13.00. The meeting point is Playa Chica Beach. 
11. Classical Music Festival in Yaiza
The Classical Music Festival in Yaiza is on Saturday 5th and Sunday December 6 in the Casa de la Cultura Benito Perez Armas. This event has been chosen by the German artist Gebhardt Binder for the international premiere of the show Apocalypse, which debuts on Sunday December 6, at 8:00 pm in the southern emblematic building. It is a concert where 33 works by the artist will be shown on giant HD screen, along with the live performance of music by Bach and Brahms at the piano and strings Khachaturian Trio. There will be four concerts with four different programs, tickets are priced at € 25 per concert, they can also be purchased every concert for 90 €. 
12. Fiestas de Santa Bárbara in Máguez
The Festival of Santa Barbara is celebrated this weekend in Máguez. Today begins at 12:30 pm with a Mass and procession. At 18:00 hours it’s going to be “Gardener for a day” Workshop for children. There will be championships, workshops and a lot of games. Tonight is the “Tenderete Canario” with parranda “Los Gurfines son thel Puerto”, among others. Saturday there will be the popular dance with the group “Sintonía Show” and “Furia Joven”. 
On Sunday 6 December at 10:30 am there is a walk planned to Gayo Fountain and Guinate Corner. Departure is from the Democratic Center Máguez. The program continues at 4:30 pm with the young afternoon racing strip, Play Station and ping pong. At 8:00 pm there will be the Play Back in charge of the town children and young people; during this activity it will be held the "Solidarity Tree" where participating children, may give a gift for disadvantaged families.
13. December in Tíasy San Bartolomé
This Friday, in Tías, the Christmas flea market will take place in the “Plaza de la Iglesia de San Antonio” from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be collection of toys. At 17:30 pm in the same place there will be children's activities. 
Meanwhile, in San Bartolomé this Friday at 7:00 pm there will be the Christmas lighting of the town. . Saturday 5 to 11:00 pm, the XII "San Bartolome sings" Coral Show is presented, with the participation of the Coral "Torreblanca" from Leon and the Municipal Choir of San Bartolome in the Municipal Theatre. There will also be "artistic workshops Christmas decoration" from 6:30 to 8:00pm. 
14. Programa Navidad y Reyes Diciembre 2015 Enero 2016 Yaiza
The Uga Cultural Center and Las Breñas Cultural Center will decorated this Friday at 4:30 pm. Meanwhile, at the Hesperia Playa Dorada there will be talk of the Week on Disability, on the Procedure for Determining the capacity and tutelage model to professionals and families with members with children, young people or people with disabilities, given by professionals Canaria Care Foundation. 
Today, at 5:00 pm, there will be a Breathing Cardiovascular Workshop , conducted by Civil Protection Yaiza at La Aurora Cultural Center of Playa Blanca. The programming also includes the Mercadillo Benéfico Playa Blanca (Playa Blanca Charity Bazaar), which Therapeutic diversity-related Cabinets and Associations invite to this charity event. From 11:00 am there will be storytelling, children's performances with Kancamusa Magic and other activities for children and families.
15. VI Encuentro de Senderismo en Lanzarote
The Sixth Meeting of Hiking in Lanzarote has a full program of wine tours and hiking through the unique landscape of Lanzarote. This afternoon there will be a special route in La Geria, walking in this amazing agricultural landscape with vines planted in holes dug in the volcanic lapilli. There will be lectures, like today at 8:30pm, in Casa Museo Señor Justo (Tías) on "Ecotourism in Lanzarote", with the participation of the Association of Environmental Tourism. You can start your Saturday hiking Haría- Teguise at 10:00 am, or take an afternoon Family Hike at 1:00pm. If you want to know the volcanic trail after the lava flow that threatened the village of Tinajo in the eighteenth century, you can do it at 9:00 pm on Sunday, December 6th. That same day at 12:30 hours there will be a tour and tasting at the craft market Mancha Blanca (Tinajo). The choice is yours, there’s a lot to do in this Hiking program.
