1. COSMOSOUL
Tickets were sold out for tonight's concert of Cosmosoul in the Castle of San José. This combo of five musicians, will give a show of the best soul and R&B music, offering their best tunes today at 9:00 pm. As opening act Mr. Paradise. If you have your ticket in hand, we'ew sure you'll enjoy it a lot.
2. III Concierto en Homenaje a Alfredo Kraus
This Friday is the third edition of the concert Tribute to Alfredo Kraus at 9:00 pm in the Theater Atlantida in Arrecife. The concert will be headed once again by the Lanzarote's tenor Pancho Corujo. On this occasion, it will benefit the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer and other dementias Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (AFA Lanzarote).
Tickets are on sale at the price of 15 euros at the gas station BP Valterra, at the headquarters of AFA (next to the Hospital Insular) and at the "Ropero de Lolita" (Tías).
3. Jameos Music Festival 2016

4. Music: CUMBIA EBRIA. 10th Anniversary
"Cumbia Ebria" celebrates 10 years turned into one of the most significant bands of the music scene in Lanzarote. And this Saturday August 6 they will present their Latin funk, unabashed rock and dance ragga in La Recova of Arrecife at 7:00 pm. Tickets are priced at 5 euros. As opening act pdParchito.
5. Activities for Children
"Paint your T-shirt" Workshop. Arrecife
This Friday at 11:00 am there's the workshop "Paint your own T-shirt" at the Children's Library in Arrecife. The necessary material the children must take for the activity is as follows: shirt solid color, preferably white (not wearing them) and clothing that they can stain.
Magic Show with Magician Artem
On Friday in Lanzarote Marina Mall there will be a Magic Show with Magician Artem at 7:30 pm in the Plaza de las Cruces.

14. Exhibition World Press Photo 2016
World Press Photo Exhibition 2016 is in Lanzarote, with a total of 155 photographs by 42 photographers of 21 nationalities. The exhibition will be at the Municipal Exhibition Hall of the Charco de San Gines from today until August 18.
In this exhibition the photographs awarded the most prestigious award of world photojournalism will be displayed. It has begun its tour of a hundred cities in 45 countries, with the expectation that more than 3.5 million people will visit it.
15. Exhibition: Efecto Oriundo. Sala de Exposiciones El Quirófano
This Friday, August 5th, the new exhibition "Efecto Oriundo" (Hailing Effect) opens at the Exhibition Hall El Quirófano at 8:00 pm. The exhibition, organized by the Cultural Association "El Parto Cerebral" pays tribute to architecture, landscape and the island customs from painting, drawing, collage and writing.
Works of artists Diego Rueda, Jose Garcia Giron and Benito Corujo, representing architectural details, agricultural work or native landscapes with some surrealist influence, where the use of ink, oil and stone predominate.
The exhibition will run until August 30, Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 9: 00 pm.
