On Friday May 26th will be held the "Workshop on the occasion of the Day of the Canary Islands" on the avenue La Aurora in Playa Blanca, at 5:00 pm.
12. Tap Dance International Day
On Friday, May 26, the International Day of Dance is celebrated at the Arrecife Democracy Society at 8:00 pm. Entrance is free and open. With the participation of the Baila Conmigo school.
13. "Tenderete Canario". Villa de Teguise.
On Monday, May 29th, on the occasion of the Day of the Canary Islands, is held the "Tenderete Canario" in the "Plaza de los Leones" at La Villa de Teguise, at 8:00 pm. The invited groups are: A.F. La Gran Aldea, Parranda Teseguite, A.F. Altaja, Parranda Los Valles and Parranda Trasmallo. Participate in your traditional dress and share your "enyesque".
14. Music concert: Reciclaje. San Bartolomé
The Canarian band Reciclaje led by Quino Martínez and Ángel Quintana announced a new album for the spring of 2017 and the album "Ven Ven", starting the national tour, supported by musicians Luis Vives (drums) and Marcial Bonilla ), and San Bartolomé will host the presentation of this new album on May 27 at 9:30 pm in the Municipal Theater.

16. 6ª Vertical Montaña Blanca 2017
Next Saturday, May 27, will be held the sixth edition of the "Vertical Montaña Blanca" 2017 race, an unavoidable event of mountain trail on the island.
The vertical has three distances to play:
Fanega, with total 26 kilometers and 2400 m. Of accumulated slope. The category Fanega is included within the III Insular Cup of Races by Mountain that organized by Cabildo of Lanzarote.
Almud, of 11 kilometers and 1400 meters of accumulated difference.
Cuartillo, of 6 kilometers and 580 meters of accumulated unevenness.
17. Theater: "Ancestor", by Armando Ravelo
Ancestor, a play by Armando Ravelo, is presented on May 27 at the "Teatro Municipal de Tias", at 8:30 pm. "The bones will tell us their story". It has the participation of Abián de la Cruz, Carol Cabrera, Christ Quintana and Selenia Arnau.
Tickets are priced at € 10 and can be purchased at: PCAN Gas Station and at the Box Office (one hour before the event).
18. II Concurso "Come Papas". Biosfera Plaza
Celebrate Canary Island's day eating potatoes next Saturday, May 27, at Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, at 7:30 pm. Previous registration at +34 626 919 416. First prize is 300€, second prize 200€ and third prize 100€.
19. End-of-Course Skating Gala. Tinajo
On Saturday, May 27th from 7:00 pm., the Tinajo Skating Workshop will end this 2017 course with a Skating Gala at the Tinajo Municipal Sports Pavilion.
20. "Timple Común"
On Saturday, May 27, the "Timple Común" event will take place at 9:00 pm in the Santo Domingo Convent of the Villa de Teguise.
