This weekend Lanzarote celebrates "San Juan" (Saint John). San Juan marks the summer solstice and takes place on the shortest night of the year on the night from the 23rd to the 24th of June and there are lots of San Juan events from today through the weekend around the island. This Friday is the eve of San Juan, there will be bonfires lit around Lanzarote to celebrate the Danza del Fuego. 5:30 pm. Mass and Procession in honor of San Juan Bautista, with the performance of the Folkloric Group Guanapay.
8:00 pm. Playback with the young people of the town.
11:00 pm. "Verbena", entrance fee €3. Orchestra Kcode 10 and Dj Ray Castellano.
Sunday, June 25th.
11:00 am. Masterclass of Zumba.
12:00 pm. Water Party (Verbena del agua).

Fiestas de San Juan Haría 2017
De la gran programación que tienen las Fiestas de San Juan en Haría, cabe destacar el viernes, 23 de junio, con la la Fiesta Joven, a las 20:30 horas, amenizada por Dj Furre, Villa Pipol y la Charanga Municipal de Pájara, así como la tradicional Quema de Facundo y la Danza del Fuego a cargo de los Diablos, en la Plaza de Haría, cerrando la noche con Fuegos Artificiales.

On Friday, June 23, there's Youth Festival, at 8:30 pm, enlivened by Dj Furre, Villa Pipol and Charanga Municipal de Pájara, As well as the traditional Burn of Facundo and the Dance of Fire by the Devils, at the Haría Square, closing the night with Fireworks.
While on Saturday, the Institutional Act of the "XXIV Awards of Haría" to Manuel Perdomo Cabrera and Lionel Morales González, at 9:00 pm, at Jameos del Agua. Saturday night will be the "Verben"a with the orchestras: Tamarindos and Rikabanda.
As closure, the Festivals of San Juan 2017 will end on Sunday, June 25, with the Fair of the Tapa and the concert of Los Lola, starting at 1:00m,at Haría square.
Night of San Juan 2017 Playa Blanca
Enjoy in Playa Blanca the magical night of San Juan, with the groups "Inerxia" from Lanzarote and "Ni un pelo de tonto" from Tenerife, this Friday 23 June, at 9:00 pm. You can also ask for your wishes by releasing a lantern of lighted paper.
Asadero de San Juan 2017 Puerto del Carmen
On Friday June 23 will take place the "Asadero de San Juan 2017" in Puerto del Carmen at 9:00 pm. There will be dancing with the Parrandas Pa'l Porrón and El Geito.
