The "Fiestas de San Francisco Javier 2017" take place in Ye from this Friday, November 10 to November 26. Here's the full program:
Friday, November 10
7:00 pm. Inauguration of the photography exhibition "Ye en los años 70" by Mr. Javier Reyes. Then, toast on the occasion of the start of the festivities and the start of the "Aloha Beach" photography competition.
8:00 pm. Draw and start of the Envite Championship.
9:00 pm. Discovery of plaque in homage and recognition to Carmen Toledo Ortiz.
9:10 pm. Proclamation of the festivities by Doña Juana María Rodríguez Toledo.
9:20 - 9:30 pm. Tenderete Canario with Guanapay folkloric group and the parranda Pa'l porrón.
Saturday, November 11
10:00 am. Children's workshop, Decorate your cactus! for children over 3 years old.
3:00 pm. Shooting in charge of the "Sociedad de Tiro al Plato de Lanzarote".
5:00 pm. Draw and start of the Men's Free Ball Championship.
6:00 pm. Draw and start of the Mixed Championship of Ronda.
9:00 pm. Children's Play Back in charge of the children of the village.
Sunday, November 12th
10:00 am. Drawing and start of the Women's Free Ball Championship.
12:00 noon. "Fiesta de la Tapa" for 1 € with:
- El Norte Dance School, The Mob and Lanzarote Baila.
- Mattresses for children.
- Concert with Si es Tarde no Vamos and Pepe Benavente.
4:30 pm. Draw and start of the Domino Championship.
9. Children's workshops: "Around the World". Rubicón Shop & Fun.
Every Friday in November, the Children's workshops: "Around the World" are held in the Rubicon Shopping Centre at 6:00 pm.
Every day a country and this Friday will be dedicated to Italy.
10. Children's activities: Face Painting + "balloonlexia". Deiland
The Deiland Shopping Centre offers children's activities for this Sunday: Face Paintings + "balloonlexia for the kids", at 11:30 am.
11. II "Ferrer Moda" Charity parade. Marina Rubicón
Ferrer Moda organizes a charity parade this Friday, November 10, in Marina Rubicon, at 7:00 pm. The attendees will be able to participate in a raffle by bringing products such as cans of preserves, gofio, biscuits, cocoa powder, among others, which will be destined to the "Calor y Café" Association.
12. Screening of the documentary "BlackFish".
Somos Lanzarote will be showing this Thursday the documentary "Blackfish" inviting to reflect on the life of cetaceans in captivity. The screening, followed by a panel discussion with experts, will take place at 7 pm at the Arrecife Library.
