Yes! That's right... there are 17 Things to Do This Weekend in Lanzarote. From tonight you can enjoy a lot of activities on the island, something for everyone. There's Perseid meteor shower, music, sports, parties and all kinds of celebrations, activities for children, humor, painting, workshop, puppets, dancing... there's a lot going on.

1. Music: La Bien Querida
Tonight Ana Fernandez Villaverde, aka "La Bien Querida" will be at San Jose Castle at 9:00 pm. This spanish indie pop artist will present her last album (Elefant, 2015).
2. Perseid meteor shower. A night with shooting stars. Arrecife
Tonight, and the night from friday to saturday, you can enjoy the Perseid meteor shower. There's a free activity at San Gabriel Castle from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm to watch the stars. If you want to watch it on your own, we recommend to go to a place away from the light pollution of towns and cites. The darker the location, the better.
3. Fiestas de Luz 2016. Los Cocoteros.
This weekend the Fiestas Los Cocoteros ends with a great program:
Thursday there will be a Cochinilla Workshop, Inflatables mattresses for the kids and a Zumba Master Class.
On Friday there will be Summer Activities and a Yoga Workshop. There will be a car workshop and exhibition on Saturday, and a Playback with the kids and youth of the town. The famous Family Treasure Hunt will be this Sunday, before the Desserts contest. The celebration ends on Monday with the Popular Meal and Water Party.
4. Fiestas San Bartolomé 2016
The Fiestas San Bartolomé 2016 will have a full program for this weekend, with tournaments, concerts, and humor. This festivities will end on August 24.
5. Semana de la Juventud Yaiza 2016
Yaiza celebrates Youth Week 2016 with many activities, with humor, exhibitions, sports and concerts:

Nazareth is also celebrating with the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Nazaret, with a program that includes Women's and Men's Day, young activities and championships.
7. III Semanas de la Juventud 2016
In Arrecife the younger people will have their "III Semanas de la Juventud 2016" (Third Youth Weeks).

10. Fisiosan Colores Race Lanzarote 2016
Run and get some colour this sunday at 10:00 am with the second edition of the Fisiosan Colours Race Lanzarote 2016. There will be a big Water Party after the race and a Zumba class to warm up before the 5k route.

17. Fiestas en honor a Nuestra Señora de La Caridad 2016 La Geria
The Celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Charity 2016 will be celebrated in La Geria this Sunday and Monday. There will be a barbecue and a performance by Parranda Janubio.
Monday is the big day of the Fiestas and it will start with traditional vintage with camel in the Bodega de la Geria from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In the afternoon, at 7:00 pm, the chapel will host the solemn function with the performance of the Choir of Yaiza and then around it, it will be the performance of the Folkloric Group Rubicon.
