1. Concert: Luz Casal. Atlántida Theater

Luz Casal, one of the most successful national and international female voices in the history of Spanish pop-rock, is coming to Lanzarote this Friday, May 25th, to delight us with the songs from her latest album, in the Atlántida Theatre Hall, at 9:30 pm.

2. Ironman Lanzarote 2018

Everything ready for one of the most important sporting events on Lanzarote: Ironman Lanzarote 2018. The Ironman Lanzarote 2018. This Saturday, May 26th, will be the 27th Edition of the Ironman Lanzarote, the famous triathlon that will challenge the 1,850 athletes registered from more than 50 countries to overcome the 3.8 km of swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, plus 180.2 demanding kilometers by bike against the elements of Lanzarote, finishing with a 42.2 km marathon reaching the desired goal in Puerto del Carmen.

IronKids Lanzarote 2018

As part of the Ironman Lanzarote, this Friday, May 25th, the competition for children will be held "IronKids Lanzarote 2018", in Matagorda at 4:30 pm.

The competition is in the Aquathlon modality (career-swimming-run) aimed at children and young people from 7 to 17 years old.

3. Music: Ángaro "New Season"

Ángaro returns to the Jameos del Agua auditorium after the success of the first season, this Sunday, May 27th, with a music show that brings " Living Traditions of the Canary Islands. Music and dance as a link between peoples".

4. "Día de Canarias" 2018 in Haría

Haria celebrates the Day of the Canary Islands with a great program of activities:

Friday, May 25th

10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Open day in "Pardelas Park" Orzola for residents of Haría, with pottery workshops.

Saturday, May 26th

11:00 am. Tasting of Gofio by "Los del Gofio, Arráez".

4:30 pm. Coed Ball Championship.

Sunday, May 27th

12:00 noon. Presentation of the boat "Volcán de la Corona" with departure to sail in the Varadero of Punta Mujeres.

Tuesday, May 29th

9:00 pm. TABLECLOTH SETTING. Put on your Canary costume, reserve your table, gather your people, prepare a "enyesque" and come and have a good time in Haria Square, the most traditional and original table will be rewarded with 200,00€ (two hundred euros).

The public will be able to enjoy and dance with the Parrandas:

Wednesday, May 30th, Canary Islands Day.

11:00 am. Exhibition of Canarian Wrestling by the Municipal School of Wrestling and Canarian Intelligence Games.

at the School of Traditional Dances of the CEIP César Manrique Cabrera of Tahiche and Performance of the Municipal School of Folklore Haría.

12:30 pm. Opening of the "SABORES DE HARÍA" tapa fair. Gastronomic Event, tasting of special tapas commemorating our Canarian Gastronomy, represented by the Restaurants of the Municipality in the Haria Square.

2:30 pm. Concert with the Canarian group "LAS EN-CANTADORAS". In addition to the folklore of our islands, (folías, seguidillas, sorondongo,...) their repertoire is composed of music from countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil.

4:30 pm. Truco Championship, C.S.C. La Tegala.

5. Canary Fair 2018 Rubicon Shop & fun

Next Wednesday is the Day of the Canary Islands and to celebrate such an important date, the Rubicon shopping centre organises a gourmet market with products from the islands: jams, wines, sweets, cheese, potatoes and much more typical Canarian food.

You can also enjoy music and a vintage car exhibition. All this and much more from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

6. "Más Canarios que el Gofio". Activities at Deiland

The Deiland Shopping Centre presents its activities for the month of May to celebrate the Day of the Canary Islands.

As part of the programme "Más Canarios que el gofio" (More of Canary Islands than Gofio), Deiland is organising a children's workshop for this Sunday, May 27th: "Aprende a hacer mojo picón" (Learn to make mojo picón), at 11:30 am.

While from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, will be the Exhibition and tasting of Canary gofio by "Los del Gofio Hermanos Arráez".

On Wednesday, May 30th, Canary Islands Day, the Deiland Shopping Centre offers several activities:

11:30 am. Canary Islands Workshop: Create your "Buches" mask. Prior registration at 639 123 940.

2:30 pm. Performance of the group of Popular Canary Island Music "Acatife".

6:30 pm. Canary Islands Workshop: Create your own Gofio pella. Prior registration.
